Centralised storage for all your legal documents

Matter Manager provides you with an electronic filing system to store, track and manage all your legal documents, while keeping them linked to specific matters. This ensures that information is centralised and available to your broader team for secure access as and when required. Not only are the documents centralised, they will be automatically categorised, scanned and OCR’d using Microsoft’s cognitive search platforms. Making the transition to Matter Manager so much easier.

Integration with Outlook and Word

As a result of Legal Interact’s partnership with Microsoft, there is full integration between Matter Manager and the Microsoft suite of products. We believe that we need to build tools where our customers work so that we meet them on their tools.

The diary integration will allow you to sync your Outlook diary with Matter Manager and manage your diary from Matter Manager.

Create, track and manage appointments, meetings and boardroom bookings straight from the system and see it reflect in your Outlook account.

Emails can be directly linked to a matter from Outlook.

Using Word you can draft your legal documents and save them directly to a matter in Matter Manager.

Legal Templates and Workflows

Tailor matter templates and workflows to your specific needs, ensuring all legal documents are aligned to your business’ corporate identity, as well as compliance with your legal standards. Easily bring about any changes to the Microsoft-Word templates and collaborate on them with others within the organisation and track those changes.

With over 80 tailormade legal workflows from disputes to contract review and contract generation you can customise your legal workflow to suit your organisations requirements.

External User Management

External User access allows you to grant access to specific parties who are involved in the matter. You can restrict the access on a per person basis.

Parties with access can, if allowed upload documents or update specific matter information.

Access can also be revoked at any stage, thereby safeguarding your information on the system.

Self-service portal

We know how important it is that you provide a channel where clients can request assistance from legal. To that end we have created a Self-Service Portal that acts as the front door into the legal team.

Document redlining and versioning

Matter Manager uses Word online to collaborate with parties. To gain access to the collaboration portal a user has to be invited to collaborate and go through a secure 2 factor authentication process.

Changes can be made live in real time with multi edits  taking place simultaneously. All changes made to the document go through a redlining and versioning process.
